UPDATE:
Version 0.1
- It turns out that this triads not only applicable to Ruka but also Arashi. So, my prediction is that it also applicable to others.
- Add the 'word' version of steps and moves. (smile, gaze, etc. etc.)
- Still have no idea what 5 stars of ex-approach gonna do.
- Add one move triad.

It was the first time I heard of 'Ex-approach' when I was playing this game. Technically, 'Ex-approach' stands for 'Experience Oriented Approach'. I stll had no idea what its gonna do though. At first, I was like "What the hell I was supposed to do to fill up this damn stars!" After a long time playing and became so frustrated, I noticed a pattern and started jotting it down. I wasn't sure its gonna work though but then it does.

○ (circle) press: smile
○ (circle) hold: gaze
△ (triangle) press: touch
△ (triangle) hold: hold hands
□ (square) press: tease
□ (square) hold: mock (I think its more like a 'chop' though)
+ (Holding analogue stick up): cling

If you played it long enough like me (Well, it's not really long. It was like just a game though), you would probably notice that there were times that when you pressed a button, suddenly, there was a distinctive twinkling sound and many stars appeared and moved in circular motion (no 'CRITICAL!' appeared). This will happen two times before the same thing happened but with word 'CRITICAL!' appearing and more hearts. I assumed there were 3 steps/button-pushings before each 'CRITICAL!', and each 'CRITICAL!' gave you a star for Ex-Approach.




Let's us assume the steps with no 'CRITICAL!' is STEP 1 and STEP 2 and the one with 'CRITICAL!' as STEP 3.

There are high probability for any button to be the right one for each step. Apparently, the only buttons available for STEP 1 is ○ and + which enable you to smile, gaze and cling at him. After successing STEP 1, button □ is available for you to do the previous steps adding other two steps, touch and hold hands. The same goes to STEP 3, where △ is enabled.

These are the triads (STEP 1,2,3) to get stars for ex-approach:

○ = CIRCLE
△ = TRIANGLE
□ = SQUARE
+ = ANALOGUE STICK
- = HOLD
> = HOLD UNTIL GAUZE IS FULL
